The second colloquium speaker of ATRC is Dr. Jacob Sosnoff from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. His talk will be about the use of technology for fall detection and prevention in older adults. The talk will be held  on Nov. 14 at RSC Rm 319 on the WSU campus from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. 


 

Ingaugural colloquium speaker of ATRC is Dr. James Coughlan from the Smith Kettlewell Eye Research Institute. His talk on April 5, 2019 focused on the use of computer vision for indoor wayfinding for people with visual impairments.


 

ATRC inaugural kickoff held October 2018. Over 50 people attended this kickoff and included faculty and staff from WSU, researchers and employees from local nonprofit agencies serving people with disabilities, and individuals with an interest in the theme of accessibility and inclusion.
