Test Information

The Office of Student Accommodations & Testing (OSAT) offers a wide variety of proctored exams, including make-up, accommodated, and national tests. Below is a list of the specific examinations (or exam types) offered within our office. The list describes the various tests, procedures, and pertinent information relating to each exam.

Proctored Testing

Wichita State University offers proctoring services to current students and to residents attending other institutions/companies. A proctored exam is an exam that is administered by an individual who supervises the student while they are taking the exam. The use of proctoring services is to ensure the integrity and security of the exam in a secure environment. The Office of Student Accommodations & Testing administers proctored tests by appointment only to WSU and non-WSU students.

The office offers many testing services, which include make-up tests, accommodated exams for students registered with the OSAT, distance exams, certification exams (such as CLEP, DANTES, etc.) and more. All exams require a valid government-issued (State License, Military ID, or Passport) or university photo ID. Additional documents may be required by the home institution, such as test information submitted by an instructor.

Check our test pricing guide to see examination fees. No fees will be charged to students registered for accommodations who are requiring accommodated exams. Fees are subject to change without notice.

Distance Exams

Wichita-based students enrolled in other institutions or universities may be able to take some required exams through our office rather than having to travel to the home institution for their exams.
