Service Information for Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing Community Members
WSU is continually working to provide various types of programming that is available to everyone on our campus and the Wichita community. Musical theater performances, plays, comedians, concerts, community engagement events – all of these and more can be accessed by our Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community by simply contacting the Office of Disability Services and requesting an interpreter or by submitting an interpreter request form electronically.
Ideally, we need at least 3 working days’ notice that you would like to attend a particular event. However, if you’ve seen advertising for a musical or play and it’s a month or so in the future, the more notice you can provide us, the better prepared our interpreters will be to do the best job possible.
