Health Savings Account (HSA)

With select medical plans only.

Health Savings Account (HSA) — allows employees to put pretax dollars aside to pay for health related expenses. Participants can pay for copayments, deductibles (medical, dental, vision and prescription), and non-network services. Participants may be required to make minimum contributions. HSA funds will roll over from year to year, and can be taken with the employee if they leave the university. Your employer also contributes funds to this account — see your current plan year's Health Benefits Booklet for details.

All contributions will go to a MetLife account.

For more information on HSAs go to State of Kansas HSA information page.
