If you are submitting/approving an ePAF for the hire or rehire of a new University employee, use the deadlines and information in this document to ensure that your new employee can begin work on the desired start date.

NOTE:  If you are making updates to a current employee’s position, refer to payroll processing deadlines above.

If you are submitting/approving an ePAF for the separation of employment (i.e., termination or retirement) of a University employee, use the deadlines and information in this document to ensure that the employee's final benefits and payroll information is processed correctly. ePAFS subject to these deadlines include:

  • Termination of position and employment (EATERM)
  • Retirement of position and employment (EATERM, Job Change Reason: RETIR)
