JAMF Connect Installation

1. Go to WSU Self Service

    • Find this under Spotlight Search or via Launchpad.

2. Search for JAMF Connect Onboarding. Click Install.

 

Note: You may receive a series of popup notifications. You do not need to take any action: your computer will automatically restart.

 

3. After your machine reboots, log in with your wsuid@wichita.edu (e.g. A123Z987@wichita.edu) and your WSU password. Note: if you are not prompted to log in, jump to the troubleshooting section below.

4. Close out of popups:

    • Once you are logged in, you may see the previous popups prompting you to reboot. Hover over the popup and click on the x that appears in the upper left to close out.

Troubleshooting

It is possible that you will not see a login screen upon restart.

If this is the case, try the troubleshooting steps below.

 

Wifi Settings

In the upper right of the screen, look for a Wi-Fi Icon.

  • Click on this icon and toggle off the Wi-Fi.
  • After a few moments, toggle the Wi-Fi back on.
  • Make sure a Wi-Fi network is selected.

 

Local Login

 

If toggling the Wi-Fi off and on again does not fix the login screen, select Local Login in the menu at the bottom of the screen to log in to your device.

Close out of popups

Once you are logged in, you may see the previous popups prompting you to reboot. Hover over the popup and click on the x that appears in the upper left to close out.
