Wrapping Up: Post-Production
The Lightboard Studio is an innovative tool to record professional video presentations on a transparent glass surface. Take the time to study the instructions provided below. Understand how the equipment works and know how make adjustments that will improve the quality of the recording. We recommend reviewing the Lightboard Tips page before planning your session. This training reviews the Post-Production step.
Finishing Your Recording:
Please remember to remove the thumb drive, if you used one.
It is recommended that you review your session to ensure that your recording was successful.
Once you have finished checking the recording, sign out of the computer and any applications you used (Zoom, Panopto...etc.).
Please do not power down the computer!
Turn off the wireless mouse and keypad.
Using the Lightboard puck controls, turn off the Lightboard.
Leaving the Room:
Clean the glass of any marker residue using the provided window cleaner. This keeps the glass clear of marker residue, which when accumulated can make future videos look hazy and of bad quality.
Place the “Studio In Use” sign on the inside of the door.
Turn off the ceiling lights and be sure to completely close and lock the Lightboard Studio door.
If new markers, cleaner, cloths, or thumb drives are needed, or if you need to report a problem with the Lightboard operation, please contact Campus Media Services at 978-3588 and we will send someone over as soon as possible.
