Classroom Media Training Schedule - Spring 2024

WSU has 3 main types of classroom around campus. Access to the classroom technology is available to faculty and staff with consistent keys for most classrooms that are issued during a short training session. If you have a key but aren't sure if it will work in your new classrooms, check out our FAQ page.

We encourage all instructors to verify that their assigned rooms have the technology they need prior to the start of the semester.

Grey Media Box Training Lab & Key Checkout

For training sessions in the BYOD/Grey Media Box classrooms for Spring 2024, open training labs will be offered from January 8th through January 19th. No appointment is required for those dates. Please review the dates and times of the open labs available to receive training. Classroom technology keys can be picked up from Campus Media Services after successful completion of classroom training. Additionally, as this style of classroom does not include a computer, you will need to bring your own laptop or tablet to adquately complete your training. The trainer will assist you with determining a need for an adapter and/or cable which are available for purchase from Campus Media Services. Internet and audio will be tested during the training session.

Master Classroom Media Training Lab & Key Checkout

For training sessions in the Master Classrooms for Spring 2024, open training labs will be offered from January 8th through January 19th. No appointment is required for those dates. Please review the dates and times of the open labs available to receive training. Classroom technology keys can be picked up from Campus Media Services after successful completion of classroom training. This style of classroom does include a computer, if you choose to use it. Otherwise, please bring your own laptop or tablet. This training includes a demonstration of Zoom, use of the classroom camera, microphone, and how to record to the Cloud. The touch panel interface has changed since 2022 and is covered in these sessions.
