Biography
I have been all over the academic map. I have studied music, but never finished a
music degree, but still enjoy going to concerts and wish I had the opportunity to
play drums again. I have finished undergraduate degrees in history, political science,
women's studies and have a master's degree in social work. The same is of me professionally.
Mostly, I worked as a newspaper reporter, but have managed a (bad) restaurant, worked
on political campaigns. There's more insignificant, though. Internationally, I served
as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Namibia, 2002-2004, and Ukraine, 2007-2009.
