Who are Tobacco Free Campus Ambassdors?

Tobacco Free Campus Ambassadors are students, staff, faculty, and other community members, who have been trained to help maintain the culture of respect and health for everyone at Wichita State University. Ambassadors politely remind people that we are a tobacco free campus and have tobacco cessation resources available when tobacco users are ready to quit.

We understand that tobacco is addictive. Our goal is to change the culture on campus to support a tobacco free environment, not to punish tobacco users.

Anyone can be a Tobacco Free Campus Ambassador! Trainings are held at least once each semester and on an as-needed basis due to scheduling conflicts.
