About National Pan-Hellenic Council

The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Incorporated (NPHC) is the governing body of nine historically African American Greek letter organizations. Wichita State University’s NPHC is the governing body to eight of the nine historically African American Greek letter organizations. WSU’s NPHC serves to foster brotherhood and sisterhood in the pursuit of social change through the development of social program that would create positive and inclusive change for the surrounding community and society as a whole. WSU’s NPHC is part of a larger community that is also referred to as the Divine Nine, that serves as the umbrella for the nine historically African American Greek letter organizations.
