Shocktoberfest has been Wichita State’s annual fall celebration of Shocker Spirit and Pride since
1991. This multi-day series features events, activities, and competitions for students,
faculty, staff, alumni, and our Wichita community.
Families are also invited to take part in Shocktoberfest activities and join us October
4 & 5 for Family Weekend.
Program highlights for this upcoming year include the student organization spirit
competition, Shocker Royalty competition, parade, brew garden and Shocker Madness!
Shocktoberfest is a campus wide initaitive and features events and opportunities hosted
by a variety of student groups and departments including support from the Foundation
and Alumni Engagement, University Athletics, and Division of Student Affairs.
