Campus Hazing Transparency Report

The Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards is responsible for the Campus Hazing Transparency Report (CHTR) in compliance with the Stop Campus Hazing Act. This report offers a summary of findings related to recognized student organizations or student groups that were determined to have violated institutional standards of conduct regarding hazing. Its purpose is to ensure transparency, promote accountability, and support a safer campus community through clear disclosure of confirmed hazing incidents.

 Disclosure Definitions

  • Organization Name: The name of the recognized student organization.
  • Type: The type of student organization
    • RSO - Recognized Student Organization
    • CGC - Cultural Greek Council
    • NPHC - National Pan-Hellenic Council
    • PC - Panhellenic Council
    • IFC - Interfraternity Council
  • Incident Date: The date the conduct incident occurrence.
  • Reported Date: The date the conduct incident was reported to SCCS.
  • Start of Investigation Date: The date the Investigation of the conduct incident began.
  • Resolution Date: The date the conduct incident was resolved by SCCS.
  • Outcome Letter Sent Date: The date the Outcome Letter regarding the conduct incident was sent to the Organization.
  • Status: This lists the organizations disciplinary status. If it says resolved that means the organization is no longer on that status, otherwise the date shows how long the organization will be on that status.
  • General Description: A general description of the hazing violation.
  • Charge: This lists the alleged charges that the organization received.
  • In Violation: This shows that the organization was found in violation for the charge.
  • Not in Violation: This shows that the organization was found not in violation for the charge.
  • Sanctions: This shows all the disciplinary sanctions the organization received including: restrictions, or conditions imposed on the organization.
  • Sanction Status: This shows whether the sanction has been completed or is still awaiting completion.
