Airline Quality Rating Holiday Travel Forecast: Demand is always higher at the holidays, so find a good price and book early

Sept. 6, 2019 -- Book your holiday air travel as early as possible (at least eight weeks if possible). Airline prices are holding steady, but with limited seat availability and strong demand seats will fill quickly. That's the advice from Dean Headley, Airline Quality Rating (AQR) co-author and emeritus professor of marketing at Wichita State University.

Award-winning NCAA swimmer Schuyler Bailar to speak at WSU

Sept. 5, 2019 -- Schuyler Bailar, an award winning NCAA Athlete and inspirational speaker, will speak at  6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, at  Wichita State University, Rhatigan Student Center in Room 265  in partnership with Spectrum: LGBTQ & Allies.   

WSU receives funding to continue to assist businesses in gaining SBIR/STTR funding

Sept. 4, 2019 -- For the sixth consecutive year, Wichita State University is one of 24 nationwide recipients of a $125,000 grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

WSU to honor science professor for national career award

Sept. 3, 2019 -- A reception will be held to publicly congratulate Wichita State Assistant Professor Alexandre Shvarsburg, who this summer was named as a recipient of 2019 Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.

Engage WSU displays university's role in public service

Aug. 30, 2019 -- As a part of Wichita State's Division of Diversity and Community Engagement, the Public Policy and Management Center will present their public service work and exchange knowledge with invited guests at Engage WSU, a day of public service sharing, from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Sept. 13 at WSU’s Marcus Welcome Center.
