Candidates for the Visiting Teaching Professor and DEI position in Honors
Brief summary of the responsibilities:
Provide leadership for and content to create a diverse and inclusive environment and
global awareness in Honors including, but not limited to, co-curricular programming
and assessment, mentorship, recruitment, campus and community outreach. Teach 4 courses
each year in Honors.
Lead efforts to create a diverse and inclusive environment and global awareness in
Honors; recommend operational plans and strategies that will directly impact the achievement
of overall results.
Presentations open to the campus community
Candidates for a new Visiting Teaching Professor, who will also be Director of Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion in the Cohen Honors College, will make presentations open to
the campus community 2-3 p.m. at the Rhatigan Student Center in Room 265. The presentations are open to the campus community and will occur on the following
dates:
- May 25 - Angela Demovic
- May 26 - Kevin Harrison
- June 1 - EmmaLee Pallai
Each presentation is about 20 minutes and will be followed by a question and answer
period. The topic is “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Honors.”
