Student Level - Graduate
We received your FAFSA, however, Wichita State has you listed as a graduate student, but your FAFSA reflects that you intend to be an undergraduate student.
Until this conflict is resolved, we are unable to determine your eligibility for federal student aid.
How to Resolve the Conflict
If you plan to be an undergraduate student:
- Contact the academic college in which you intend to earn your undergraduate degree and complete any additional paperwork. For more information about colleges and majors, visit the Wichita State Academic Affairs website.
- If you have previously applied to WSU Graduate School and are planning to complete your first undergraduate degree or work toward your second undergraduate degree, contact the Office of Financial Aid at finaid@wichita.edu to notify us of your intent.
If you plan to be a graduate student:
- Follow the steps below relevant to your specific academic year.
2024-2025 FAFSA
Log into studentaid.gov and correct/review the following questions on your FAFSA:
- "When the student begins the 2024-2025 school year, what will their college grade
level be?”
- You should answer “Master’s or doctorate program (such as MA, MBA, MD, JD, PhD, EdD, etc.)”
2025-2026 FAFSA
Log into studentaid.gov and correct/review the following questions on your FAFSA:
- "When the student begins the 2025-2026 school year, what will their college grade
level be?”
- You should answer “Master’s or doctorate program (such as MA, MBA, MD, JD, PhD, EdD, etc.)”
