FAFSA Signature(s) Needed
Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has been received by Wichita State; however, it is missing either your, your parent, your parent's spouse, or your spouse's signature. Until your FAFSA has been signed, it is considered unofficial, and no federal financial aid can be offered.
Student Signature
If your Financial Aid Requirement on your Financial Aid Dashboard indicated you are
missing the Student Signature, follow these steps:
- Log into studentaid.gov using your account username and password (FSA ID).
- Select “My Activity” from your Dashboard.
- Select your processed FAFSA submission to see the Details page.
- Select “Provide Signature.”
- Once your FAFSA is successfully processed as official, the WSU Office of Financial Aid can continue processing the results of your FAFSA. Check your WSU email regularly for any additional items needed.
Parent, Parent's Spouse, or Spouse Signature
If your Financial Aid Requirement on your Financial Aid Dashboard indicated you are
missing a signature from your parent, parent's spouse, or spouse, have THEM follow these steps:
- Log into studentaid.gov using their account username and password (FSA ID).
- Select “My Activity” from their Dashboard.
- Select the processed FAFSA submission to see the Details page.
- Select “Provide Signature.”
- Once the student’s FAFSA is successfully processed as official, the WSU Office of Financial Aid can continue processing the results of the student’s FAFSA. Students should check their WSU email regularly for any additional items needed.
