Summer Financial Aid
Our records show that you submitted a FAFSA and may be starting classes at Wichita State beginning this summer. To be considered for federal financial aid for the summer, please complete the steps below.
How to Complete the Summer Aid Application
**The WSU Summer Financial Aid Application will be available beginning in mid-April.**
- Enroll in your summer classes (enrollment begins in mid-April).
- Complete the Summer Aid Application:
- Log into your myWSU account at mywsu.wichita.edu and select the myFinances tab.
- Under the Financial Aid Links section, select "Apply for Summer Financial Aid."
- The application is only available to students once they have enrolled for summer classes.
Enrollment for Summer
For the summer term, full-time enrollment is 12 credit hours for undergraduate students and 6 credit hours for graduate students. Half-time status is 6 credit hours for undergraduate students and 3 credit hours for graduate students.
Additional Details
The priority date to complete an application for financial aid for the summer term is May 1st.
