If you need to change your response about student loans and would now like to be re-evaluated for loan eligibility and possibly accept student loans for the summer term, complete the request form below.
Info to Consider About Summer Student Loans
Please consider the following information about student loans:
- Enrollment: You must enroll at least half-time to be eligible for student loans
- Undergraduate students need 6 credit hours of summer enrollment
- Graduate students need 3 hours of summer enrollment
- Loan Limits: Annual loan limits apply to all students seeking loan assistance:
- Undergraduate Loan Limits: $5,500-$12,500
- Freshmen (0-29 Hours): $5,500 Dependent; $9,500 Independent
- Sophomore (30-59 Hours): $6,500 Dependent; $10,500 Independent
- Juniors/Seniors (60+ Hours): $7,500 Dependent; $12,500 Independent
- Graduate Loan Limits: $20,500
- Undergraduate Loan Limits: $5,500-$12,500
- Major: You must be enrolled in a degree-bound program at Wichita State. Only course work required for your degree will count as part of financial aid enrollment each semester.
