Adonay (Ethiopia)

Undergraduate - Biomedical Engineering

My name is Adonay Tedla. I am an international student studying at Wichita State University. Currently, I am a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering. The big part of who I am is based on where I came from, my mother land, Ethiopia. I was born and raised in a country that’s located on the eastern part of Africa where there are more than 80 ethnic group each having its own unique food, clothing and language. Being able to grow surrounded with a unique cultural environment have made me interested in other cultures. Being part of the cultural ambassador program will give me the chance to show these various cultures of my country to WSU and the WSU community. In the future I aspire to go to medical school and become a well-known Neurosurgeon. I speak English and Amharic.
