Amanuel (Ethiopia)

Amanuel Y. Wondimu is a senior Mechanical Engineering student at Wichita State University. He was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. His interest in World History, Culture, Politics, and Economy drives him to explore and travel around the world.
Amanuel graduated from Hesston College with an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The welcoming culture and hospitality in the U.S.A. motivates him to give back to the community with such platforms by creating awareness about Ethiopia and Africa. His love and respect to his country’s vast history, unique tradition, impressive social structure, and diverse culture helps him stand before his audience and speak with confidence, humility, and open-mindedness. He has been an active member of CAP since 2016.
Amanuel is an Intern Engineer with multi-disciplinary jobs for the Global 7500 Business Aircraft at Bombardier Learjet. He works in the Powerplant group as a Mechanical Systems Intern Engineer. He also assists senior engineers in different groups including Avionics, Landing Gear, Air System, and Fly-By-Wire.
During his free time, Amanuel enjoys playing tennis and soccer. He also likes to read books and watch documentaries.
