Wichita State University has a long history of collaborating with a wide range of government and industry partners. In fact, WSU’s National Institute for Aviation Research attracts more research funding from industry partners than any other similar university research center. Its list of aviation and aerospace industry partners is extensive.

We believe that real world experience is valuable for students at all levels; giving them practical situations in which to apply their education. We encourage student involvement in our collaborations with external partners. Business Operations and Analytics Lab (BOAL)

A research-based operations and analytics laboratory in the W. Frank Barton School of Business as Wichita State University.

Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR)

A regional storehouse for local, state, and national statistical and business databases.

Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) Facility

A facility that houses a Carl Zeiss Sigma VP Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope in the WSU College of Engineering.

General Aviation Flight Lab (GAFL)

The General Aviation Flight Laboratory (GAFL) is part of the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Wichita State University, and specializes in research into neural network-based adaptive flight control systems for general aviation applications.

Human Performance Lab (HPL)

A research-based laboratory that tests aspects of human performance to understand what changes can be made to improve performance.

 Protein Chemistry Core Lab
Protein purification via conventional ion exchange, gel filtration, hydrophobic interaction, and reverse-phase chromatography.
