Work History Survey Tutorial


When launching the survey, employees will be required to enter their employee ID. The ID the survey is looking for is your myWSU ID and it is case sensitive (use capital letters ex: X123Y456).


Question 1: Identifying Information

Please review this section to ensure the information is correct. If any of the information in this section is incorrect, please provide updated information in the comments box. Please note: your job title is connected to the job code. Working title is not captured in this section.

Question 2: Work History

For each job you have worked, including current and previous positions at Wichita State University, please provide the following information:

  • Job title – Administrative Assistant
  • Start date [mm/dd/yyyy] – 12/1/2010
  • End date [mm/dd/yyyy] or select ‘Current Job’ – Current Job
  • Brief job description – Answers phone calls, makes travel and meetings arrangements, and supports visitors. Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results. Supervise two students.

  • Brief Job description – Managed tasks such as making drinks, ice cream, identifying if order is correct, and taking the items to the correct stall. Assisted customers by taking payments for their order, making the appropriate exchange of money as needed, and resolving any concerns with their order. Open the building as needed completing opening tasks such as making onion rings and prepping for the store to open. Closing the building as needed completing tasks such as balancing money received at the end of the night with the register, cleaning machines, and restocking cups and silverware.
