Lost Property Report

The central repository for lost and found items is maintained by the University Police Department. Office hours are 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m., Monday through Friday, excluding University holidays.

There are lost and found collection sites located across campus. If you think you know where you lost your property, check in that building first. Items are kept in these offices for a period of time, then are either sent over or picked up by the police department.

If the owner of the property is known or has a lost property report on file with the police department, attempts will be made to contact them by email or telephone.

A valid picture ID may be required to pick up property.

Property is kept for thirty (30) days. After that time property is either destroyed or donated to a local charilty at the discretion of the police department.

  • Textbooks are sold back during the book buy-back periods and the money deposited into the William O. Long scholarship fund.

  • Any found monies are deposited into the scholarship fund and not returned to the finder.

  • Shocker ID cards are returned to the Shocker Card Center, located next to the Commerce Bank in the Rhatigan Student Center, 978-2273.
