Esports Hub

RESERVED FRIDAYS : 6-11 p.m. for Wichita Wolves Esports Smash Tournament

This state-of-the-art Esports facility is located in the heart of campus at the Heskett Center and is available for use during regular hours. Access to the space is free for students and individuals with a membership.

Hub Features

  • 20 Cybertron Gaming Computers
  • Logitech Gaming Headsets, Mouse and Keyboards (Available for checkout at not cost)
  • Acer 24 inch, high resolution monitors with Height, Pivot, Swivel and Tilt.
  • Respawn Reclining Gaming Chairs
  • Console Gaming Area includes two 65-inch TVs 
    • Xbox-FIFA 20, Madden 20 Football, NBA 2K
    • Nintendo Switch-Mario Kart, Supper Smash Brothers. 
PC Games:
  • PC Games are subject to change based on demand.  Suggest a game!
  • Paid games require your own license or account to play.
  • Some of the games include: League of Legends, Overwatch, Apex Legends, Fornite, CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Dota 2, Path of Exile, Minecraft, Hearthstone, World of Warcarft, Rocket League, Starcraft & SMITE.

Policy & Procedure

  • ESports Hub access is free for WSU Students
  • Access is included to individuals with a Heskett Center membership
  • Other participants must get permission from Campus Recreation staff before gaming.
  • Welcome and respect gamers of all types, from all places and backgrounds.
  • Foul language is unacceptable. No yelling. Keep volume at a reasonable level.
  • No “toxicity” allowed.
    • Behaviors that create an intolerable environment such as bullying, threats of violence, stalking or other forms of intimidation will not be tolerated.
  • No cheating or illegal activity allowed.
  • Computers are only for E-Sports activities.
    • Downloading programs or games to an E-Sports computer is prohibited. No flash drives unless pre-approved.
  • Food & drinks are only allowed in the lounge area of the ESports Hub.
  • Push chairs in when done.
  • Respect the equipment!
  • Failure to follow the rules can lead to a suspension or permanent loss of privileges.
