Program Overview
- Location: Paris, France
- Dates Saturday, March 13 – Saturday, March 20, 2027
- Students will connect classroom learning with real-world experiences and experience French culture
Who Can Participate?
- Open to First-Year Students who are in a Living Learning Community within the residence halls.
- This includes first-year undergraduate students who are:
- Engineering students who need to fulfill their Engineering+ requirement
- Honors students
- International Studies/International Business majors (cultural/language experience or study abroad requirement for IB majors)
- Anyone who has an interest in learning about Paris, France
Class Information
- Open to all undergraduate freshman students at WSU
- Undergraduate students: LASI 398 Travel Seminar- 1 or 3 credit hours
- WSU Instructor: Chris Wiebe
- Honors students: Earn credit towards your honors requirements with the 3 credit hour option
- Pay regular WSU tuition fees for Spring 2027 rate
Cultural Benefits and Activities
- Visit sites including museums and other places of interest within the city of Paris
- Learn about other cultures
- Schedule includes:
- River Seine Tour
- Eiffel Tower
- Musee Du Louvre
- Arc de Triomphe
- Musee d’Orsay
- Chateau de Versailles
- Catacombes de Paris
- Free Time to explore the city
Program Cost
- Program Fee of approximately $2,500
- Welcome meal
- Triple/Quad occupancy rooms
- Inter-city travel
- Full time tour director and local guides; tips for tour director
- All activities as listed on the detailed itinerary
- International health insurance
- Additional Costs (not included in program fee)
- Airfare (Housing will cover up to $1,000 toward flight cost)

- Cost of regular WSU tuition and fees at Spring 2027 rate (1 or 3 credit hour options available)
- $130 WSU Study Abroad application and administrative fees
Flights and Housing
- Flights:
- Flights will be booked by WSU, and you will travel as a group to and from Wichita
- Housing:
- Twin-bedded, ensuite studio apartments. Centrally located with a kitchenette and laundry facilities on-site. Linens and towels, weekly cleaning, and free wireless internet are provided

- Complete the Study Abroad Application Form
- Complete payment of $130 WSU Study Abroad application and administrative fees (charged to WSU student account) – once your application has been submitted, you will receive instructions on completing these payments.
