Rules & Guidelines

  1. All items must be brought with groups when they check in.
  2. Cans must be unopened and unexpired. Packaging may not be tampered with to preserve the food.
  3. No more than 4 people are allowed to work on the structure at one time, and they must be pre-registered. 
  4. Group members may tag in/out, but all participants must be pre-registered.
  5. Participants may begin checking in at 3:00 p.m. But may not begin working on their structures until 3:20 p.m. All participants must conclude by 5:00 p.m.
  6. In assembling their structures groups may use cardboard, tape, wire, string, and rubber bands. These items will not be provided to you, and each team is responsible for bringing those supplies they will use. Groups must indicate the use of these items during check-in.
  7. Judging will begin at 5:00 p.m. and all results will be submitted at 5:30 p.m.
  8. Following the event, groups must also assist in packing up items and delivering them to the Kiah Duggins Shocker Support Locker.

Requirements

  1. All participants must wear close toed shoes.
  2. All participants must be present at the scheduled time of competition

Prize

  • Certificates are awarded based on competition categories
  • Spirit Competition Teams who place will receive points as noted below
