Position Description

The director leads and manages the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Hub (Office for Undergraduate Research) whose primary mission is to serve students, faculty, and administrators as a resource and coordinated source of information about undergraduate research on campus and beyond. Will develop and implement long-term strategies to increase the accessibility and visibility of this office as the hub of information and advising for undergraduate research and related opportunities. This position will provide overall strategic management of the office in the areas of policy development, program management, financial management & fund raising, data reporting & evaluation, staffing, delivery of services to students and faculty, and relations with internal and external constituents.

The director reports to the dean of the Cohen Honors College. Work for some program activities, including the Delfin summer research program, is monitored and evaluated by the dean of the Graduate School.
