10/21/2026 - Hidden Curriculum of Research, Research opportunities can feel intimidating when students are unfamiliar with the unspoken expectations of academia. This lunch and learn explores the “hidden curriculum” of undergraduate research by discussing how students can build relationships with faculty, navigate professional communication, overcome imposter syndrome, and access opportunities that are not always openly explained. Participants will gain practical strategies for navigating research spaces while reflecting on how identity, belonging, and access shape the undergraduate research experience.
