Leadership Academy Model & Course
The Leadership Academy engages students in contemporary research and scholarship based
on an annual theme, question, or issue. Through our 2026 theme, “Currents, Waves & Tides: Leadership in Motion" students will participate as a cohort in a 2-week summer pre-session (3 credit)
course, a Place as Text travel experience, combined with a design thinking focused project culminating in
pitches to the faculty thought leaders and annual community partners.
The Leadership Academy is funded from a gift from Dorothy and Bill Cohen. International location requires international program fee.
