Connecting Adults to Education and their Future!

Go Back to School or College at any Age

TRIO Logo black

An EOC Scholar is an adult who made the commitment to attend a vo-tech, college, or university to attain a bachelors degree. Most EOC scholars are first generation, meaning they are the first in their family to enroll in higher education. Being first-generation is a very proud accomplishment. EOC will honor our program participants who have taken this step of enrolling to earn a certificate, license or degree. Adults who have enrolled in a GED or High School Completion Program will also be celebrated. Check your email for an invitation to be recognized as a TRIO/EOC Scholar. Frameable certificates will be issued to all confirmed scholars.

Although it's a simple concept, self-care is something most people very often overlook. Good self-care is key to preventing bad moods and poor health.

Register for the Zoom Self-Care workshop. Bingo cards and fun for all players. To register and for more information, Contact Staysha at EOC at 978-7803.

Great Summer Read: Stay Motivated about College

Educated

Educated tells the story of the author Tara Westover as she struggles against her family's isolationist and religious beliefs. Tara writes that she had to fight for an education. In her struggle, she learns what it means to be educated. A bonus is that Tara learned much more about the world than what's contained in books. Join Jed Shepherd as he leads an eye opening discussion about Educated. Sign up for the EOC Book Club.
