Get Started with Lightboards

Campus Media Services is dedicated to providing a rich variety of training methods and opportunities surrounding the different classroom styles on campus. This Lightboard Room Training Portal will function as a repository for all online training related to Lightboard room use and making room reservations.

*Please note that you will need a key to access the Lightboard Rooms. Submit a ticket for classroom support and let us know you would like training and a key for the Lightboard rooms. If you need assistance with creating a Lightboard Studio room reservation within the week, please submit a ticket and CMS will create the reservation on your behalf.

Explore Our Lightboard Room Training

Thanks to CARES Act money that was distributed as SPARK funds, Wichita State now has several Lightboard studios for faculty to use to quickly and easily record lecture videos while also getting to write on a "board." While you will need to schedule an in-person Lightboard Room training in order to obtain a key for these rooms, we have provided some additional and "refresher" training options.
