Each WSU building is assigned its own property number and each building addition, improvement, renovation or remodeling project with a total cost of $100,000 or more is posted as a component (-001, -002, etc.) of the building property number.

WSU land is assigned its own property number and each land addition with a cost $100,000 or more is posted as a component of the land property number.

Each type of WSU infrastructure item (Improvement of Grounds, On-Campus Parking, Electric Distribution, Roads, Sprinkling Systems, Storm Sewers, Telecommunications, and Water Lines) is assigned its own property number and each addition, improvement, renovation or remodeling project with a cost of $100,000 or more is posted as a component of the base property number.
