Exclusive Intern Housing at Wichita State University

Summer 2025 intern housing will be available May 23rd through August 2nd.
Due to limited space this summer, interns will be housed at The Suites and Shocker Hall.
The Suites at WSU, Wichita State's newest on-campus housing option, is now the exclusive home to our summer internship students. This building will only house summer interns, creating a unique community full of young professionals interning at companies all over Wichita. There are limited spaces available, so be sure to reserve your soon!
The Suites is located on the east side of the Wichita State campus, within walking distance of the newly completed YMCA, Starbucks, Fuzzy's Tacos, Social Tap Drinkery, Sungrano Pizza, Wheatly’s Burgers, and the WSU Food Truck Plaza. The Suites features primarily single rooms within a 1, 2, or 4 bedroom suite. Each room is fully furnished with a full-size bed, desk, chair, and a large closet for each guest. Each suite contains a kitchenette (refrigerator and microwave), washer/dryer unit, common room with furniture, and a bathroom/vanity area. The main lobby of the building features a full community kitchen, game room with foosball, pool, & ping pong. There are TVs in the lounge area and a staffed information desk and mailroom. Shocker Hall is located on the west side of campus and just a short walk from the Dining Hall, Rhatigan Student Center and the GroundHouse coffee shop. Rooms come equipped with a Twin XL bed, desk and chair, and a dresser. Laundry rooms, kitchens, and large lounge areas with a TV are available on each floor. The are additional study/work rooms throughout the building. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and able to assist with any questions or issues. Interns do have the option to purchase a meal plan directly through Dining Services, if they so choose. For more information, check out the Dining Services Website or call 316-978-3477

Historically, interns who work in Wichita stay on our campus between 60 and 75 days. Based on this information, we have established discounted rates especially for interns! Pricing is a flat-rate and not prorated based on your specific move-in/out dates.
*Office Spaces will only be offered in Single 2 Bedroom Suites and none of the furniture will be removed from the second bedroom.
