Here are general recommendations to make sure you are able to access what you need:
- Windows and Mac: Minimum Core i5, 16GB RAM, 128-256GB storage with integrated webcam / mic.

CPU: Minimum Intel i5 (Ultra 5 or higher recommended but not essential) or AMD Ryzen equivalent

Graphics: If you plan to do any 3D modeling or other GPU-assisted workloads (AI and its reliance on CUDA), consider getting a dedicated graphics card, such as Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD

Dental Hygiene
Students are required to have a computer device with enabled webcam for facilitating
in class and / or on- line content course assignments, learning activities, and one
that meets HonorLock system requirements. Currently, the HonorLock system requirements
are:

Physical Therapy
Students are required to have a computer device with enabled webcam for facilitating
in class and / or on- line content course assignments, learning activities, and one
that meets Examplify system requirements. Examplify for Windows requirements
-Operating System: 64-bit versions of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
-Alternate versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11, such as Windows RT and Windows 10
and 11 S, are NOT supported at this time.
-Only genuine versions of Windows Operating Systems are supported. The versions of
Windows certified for use are Windows 10 22H2, Windows 11 23H2, and Windows 11 24H2.
-The English (United States) Language Pack must be installed.
-CPU Processor: Non-ARM-based processor supported by your operating system.
-RAM: 4GB of usable RAM or higher
-Hard drive: 4GB or higher of available space.
-Screen resolution should be at least 1280 x 768. Scaling should be set to 100%.

Resource 2 Success (R2S) is dedicated to supporting incoming students within the WSU community by providing them with the technological resources required for them to successfully graduate from WSU.
R2S partners with several on campus organizations to identify and supply qualified students with laptops/Chromebooks as well as technical support for the devices.

For students who cannot be on campus, or while away from their WSU computer or lab, ITS offers an authorized access version of SPSS/AMOS. This option allows you to install SPSS/AMOS on your home computer. The license expires each year on June 30. If you wish to continue using SPSS/AMOS while employed, or as an active student at WSU beyond the June 30 expiration, you will need to obtain a new license.

Adobe Express for Higher Education is currently available to Wichita State University students for free.
Adobe Express offers a world of apps and services that foster creativity, drive engagement, and build career-relevant skills, including web and mobile apps, plus Premiere Rush and Photoshop Express.
You must be a currently enrolled degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student to receive a license for Adobe Express from WSU.

Attending Teams Meetings on Chromebook
A Chromebook is technically a mobile device, and while it is possible to download the Microsoft Teams app for a Chromebook, it might not be the best experience for Teams Meetings. If you are having trouble accessing Teams Meetings from your Chromebook, please use the browser-based version of Teams Meetings.
