Deiondre Teagle is an actor, dance instructor, and choreographer/dancer currently based in Wichita, KS. Teagle is a graduate of Wichita State University where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Deiondre is a dance instructor at Wichita State University, Butler Community College, and Encore Dance Studios. He also is a teaching artist with Arts Partners who work to integrate the arts into the classroom to enhance child learning. As a performer, Deiondre has been involved in numerous productions (stage, dance, commercial, and film). Spotlight Q&A
- What are you currently working on or working towards?
I'm always working on something. Currently, I am choreographing an African variety
show for Buckner Performing Arts Magnet Elementary School. I'm also in the middle
of writing a screenplay. Most importantly, I continue to work daily towards bettering
myself mentally, physically, spiritually, and as a human being.
- What’s your current anthem/theme song?
Dedication by Nipsey Hussle ft Kendrick Lamar. That's been my theme song for the past
4 years.
- Share a crazy/funny/embarrassing WSU story.
I forgot the words to an entire verse to one of my songs in Smokey Joe's Cafe during
a Saturday night show. I have no idea how I made it through the rest of the number,
but we did!
- What’s your latest obsession?
Food recipes on Instagram! I've also been rewatching The Proud Family...Obsessed!
