Natalie Carrera is a dancer, singer, actor originally from Shawnee, KS. She is a proud 2021 Wichita State University graduate where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre and minors in dance and communications. A few of her credits include In the Heights, Escape to Margaritaville, Holly Jolly Christmas (Broadway Palm), Saturday Night Fever (Circa ‘21), and performing with Cedar Fair Live Entertainment.  


Spotlight Q&A

- What are you currently working on or working towards? 
I am currently working with Prather Productions on “In The Heights” as Yolanda/Ensemble/Carla cover at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Fort Myers, FL. We close May 14th! I am also in their children’s theatre show “No Dogs Allowed” as Carmen! 
 
- What’s your current anthem/theme song? 
“Levitating” by Dua Lipa will always get me hyped and ready to conquer my day!  
 
- Share a crazy/funny/embarrassing WSU story. 
I was a junior when the Covid-19 pandemic started so switching to virtual learning half way through the school year has to be the craziest thing that happened in my time at Wichita State.  
 
- What’s your latest obsession? 
Alani energy drinks have been getting me through my 9 show week schedule, so I might have to go with those!
