At Wichita State, we are Shocker PROUD!

The university has established five service standards to build relationships with students, visitors and all members of the community on our campus.

Being DEPENDABLE means saying what you will do and doing what you say in a timely manner. This could mean taking the time to quickly respond to an email even though you are in a hurry. Even if it’s just to let them know you’ll give it your full attention as soon as you are able to do so.

These standards will ensure that everyone will have a positive experience on our campus, and create a place where students, faculty, and staff may thrive.

The resulting document is a blueprint for the university's aspirations of obtaining greater global prominence and a declaration of its intentions to serve as the flag bearer for the future of higher learning.
