At Wichita State, we are Shocker PROUD!

The university has established five service standards to build relationships with students, visitors and all members of the community on our campus.

Being OPEN means you are willing to see someone else’s perspective.  We should always present ourselves in a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible manner and not be defensive when others have a view or opinion that differs from our own.  This could mean listening to a colleague or student to better understand their perspective or position.

These standards will ensure that everyone will have a positive experience on our campus, and create a place where students, faculty, and staff may thrive.
