Congratulations on your new position at Wichita State University! The New Employee Orientation (NEO) Online Modules outlined below will provide Benefit-Eligible (BE) employees with vital information about Wichita State University, employee rights and responsibilities, and the benefits available to eligible employees including leave, insurance, and retirement.

Additionally, the online modules correlate with your new employee required tasks to give you a clear understanding of what you need to complete within your first few weeks of employment.

Follow these steps to access and complete your required tasks, online modules, and acknowledgement.

Online Modules

The NEO online modules are in our learning management system, myTraining.

1. Go to myTraining using this single sign-on link or from your myWSU portal.

2. Once in myTraining, scroll down to Required New Employee Training to request and launch the NEO curriculum.

Required Tasks

Your required tasks are in the jobs portal in the same place as the Before First Day tasks you completed as part of the hiring process.

1. Go to jobs.wichita.edu

2. Select ‘MY PROFILE’ from the top menu

3. Click ‘Applicant Login.’

4. Follow the login instructions.

5. From your homepage, select ‘Go to employee portal’ where you will find your required tasks.

NEO Acknowledgement

Submit your acknowledgement once you’ve completed the online modules.

You can also use the accordions below for quick access to corresponding resources and who to contact for questions or issues.

MODULE 1 - New Employee Orientation Required Tasks Walk-Through

Module 1 will cover information about the New Employee Orientation (NEO) process and requirements of new Wichita State University (WSU) Employees. Gain understanding of the NEO online module access and options, and learn about the New Employee Required Tasks. Step-by-step instructions about how to complete each item of the New Employee Required Tasks is also provided in this module.

MODULE 4 -Civil Rights, Title IX, and ADA Compliance

Learn about Wichita State University's Office of Civil Rights, Title IX, and ADA Compliance (CTAC) and their commitment to preventing and eliminating discrimination and harassment. In Module 4, you will receive an overview of WSU's discrimination and harassment policies, protected classes, reporting options, and your responsibilities as a Title IX Responsible employee.

All university employees are considered Title IX Responsible Employees and have a duty to report actual or suspected harassment, discrimination, or sexual misconduct to appropriate officials.
