Blackboard Academy Course

Anthology is offering a free Ultra training course through Blackboard Academy. The course is self-paced and designed to help you get comfortable with building content, creating assessments, and working with discussions in Blackboard Ultra. 

The course includes 5 modules:  

  • Getting Started with Ultra 
  • Building Courses 
  • Assessing Learners 
  • Enhancing Communication 
  • Evaluating your Course 

You will be asked to create a Blackboard Academy account to enroll. Once enrolled, you will have 180 days (about 6 months) to complete the course. Upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.  

To access free course: 

Step 1: Request Companion course(s)  
  • You will need two Ultra companion courses to participate: one for practice and another for exercises (provided by Blackboard). If you have an Ultra course you would like to use for practice, feel free. Otherwise, you can request an empty sandbox.
Step 2: Go to Bb Academy Home  
  • Create Blackboard Academy account or sign in
  • Search for "Learn Teaching Essentials Ultra"
