“Brooke and Kayla did what we absolutely love to see happen. They made the developmental team, took what they learned, worked hard and made the jump. It is fun to see that kind of stuff happen,” head coach Gordon Vadakin said.

Freshmen Meghan Beehler (Bella Vista, Ark.), Natalie Dutton (Jenks, Okla.) and Cassie Edgar (Wichita, Kan.) round out the six player team.

On the men’s side, junior Alex Lankford (Moon Twp., Pa.) makes his second appearance on the developmental team. “We are always incredibly excited to get the season started. It’s always a crazy start to the year and now we shift to a different kind of crazy. I’m ready to watch these players really get after it and see how good we can get as a whole,” Vadakin said.

The first tournament of the season is October 8-9 in Wichita, Kan., the MidStates Championships.
