Sherri Holle

BENDER OF TWIGS INDUCTEE 2019

No Photo Available - Default ImageSherri Holle has been an asset to the School of Education for many years, her work in the department spans over two decades, evidence of her loyalty to the university and our future teacher’s development. She has provided a professional approach and a deep commitment to advising students in the Transition to Teaching program since its beginning.

I was fortunate to coordinate the T2T program and Master of Arts in Teaching program, and work with Sherri as my administrative assistant for 5 years. When I began working with her I found someone who was organized, loyal, and dedicated to the success of the students in our program.

Her in depth understanding of Kansas teacher licensure requirements has been vital to the T2T/MAT students as they prepare to become teachers in the classroom. She assists students in navigating both the complexities of Graduate School admission and requirements, and the Kansas professional licensure and testing requirements. She is collaborative with faculty, staff, students and administration and is always working to improve the processes of the program. She is an advocate for teacher education, as well as special education, and exhibits professionalism in her daily work.

Congratulations Sherri as someone who has reached this milestone and is truly a “bender of twigs”!
